Wested Store Front & Customer Service

Post by ijq8 »

Anyone know if Wested store front in UK re-opened after COVID or permanently closed? I saw the notice on their website, but it's a little ambiguous. Also, what is the typcial response times for email inquiries? I emailed over a week ago to the email on the website asking some simple questions about their B3 jackets and sent a follow up, but no reply thus far.
Thanks :TOH:

No idea about the storefront, but Wested's has never been great with email coorrespondance. Sometimes a message will be returned in days, more often not at all.

its all online now. The 'Barn' is no longer visitable as it was in the old days when Peter was front of house. not sure if they sold it on. phonecalls and eails though are generally not an issue.

Thanks for the info on the storefront. Emails DO seem to be an issue though. I get no reply. Oh well, I guess that's how other companies increase their market share.

S&J always get back to you and customer service like no ones business.
Plus it's custom and you get what you ordered, ya the lead time is out there, but so worth it.

If your looking to own a jacket by the original maker and want that ''look'', get a legacy, nice undertones.
Just my .05 cents (inflations a bummer  )

Thanks Croft. I'd love an S&J...someday. I was actually looking into Wested's B-3 offering (I know, I know...not accurate repros, but also no $1000+). I haven't seen anywhere that S&J does anything other than Indy, but wouldn't it be great if they got into B-3 (or better yet B-6) productions!
Thanks again,
