I've always loved the S swoop of the turned Raiders, but the height of the crown and super tight pinch have just never looked right on me. I'm thinking about a TLC for my next hat, but considering a slight turn in order to give the brim a bit more character.
As it's not screen accurate, I have a feeling not too many people do this....but if anyone has, are there some pics out there? I found an older post where Holt noted he'd done it, but I believe the pics have since been removed (or I just can't see them for some reason).
What do you think—would a TLC with a slight turn look alright or utterly ridiculous?
Any examples of Last Crusade but with a turn?

IIRC there have been members who have done this. Indiana Croft comes to mind, but I may be wrong.
If that’s what you want to do, I say go for it. As you know, outside of these halls, no one sees the difference from one movie’s hat to another, so if adding a turn to a LC hat will make you happy who’s to tell you you’re wrong.

Thanks, Jeff. I have a new tawny fawn Fed IV on the way. Perhaps I’ll give it a whirl with that before I request it on the bigger purchase in the works.
