Every time I spot a Mk-VII bag on ebay and wanna look at the auction, I get this message:
"Dear User:
Unfortunately, access to this particular category or item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in your home country. Based on our discussions with concerned government agencies and eBay community members, we have taken these steps to reduce the chance of inappropriate items being displayed. Regrettably, in some cases this policy may prevent users from accessing items that do not violate the law. At this time, we are working on less restrictive alternatives. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we hope you may find other items of interest on eBay.
Thank You.

What's wrong with that? Anybody has the same probs?
Quantum,
I've seen that post as well. It seems to come up any time the post says, "Gas Mask Bag" or something along those lines. The WPG eBay listing comes up fine, as well as any post which says, "Indy Bag" , but gas mask bag seems to have this message. I think it might have something to do with precautions against importing weapons or any other item which might be construed to be terrorist related in the wake of 9-11, but that is pure conjecture on my part. I would suggest contacting eBay to what the deal is.
If you find out, let us know.
Best,
HJ
All right, I just sent them an email. Hope they'll answer. I'll let you know if they do. So, if one lives in the country the auction is located, one would be able to actually look at the item and bid?
I have observed similar message in regards to bidding on holsters and firearm accessories.
One possible work around would be to access Ebay from another country's URL For example, http://www.ebay.co.uk/ I have had to do this when Ebay was blocked from the corporate network.
got an answer from ebay. Seems like the haven't really read my request though. It says I can't see the item because it's considered pornographic Weird! Is there something about the bag I haven'd figured out yet?
Ah ja, ich verstehen. The problem seems to be what to which language your browser is set. I use Internet Explorer and when German (DE) is set as the language, I get the same message "Unfortunately, access to this particular category or item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in your home country..." etc.
But if I select English (and delete any others) then it works fine. Try that.
I went into Internet Explorer TOOLS, selecting INTERNET OPTIONS, and selecting the GENERAL tab, and then LANGUAGES, and you can add, delete and choose languages there.
