A reason to kick myself...

In early Nov. I needed a new pair of steel toe boots for work. I found a place around the corner that carried a brand I'd never seen before - Carolina boots. I found a decent pair of comfortable, non-discript boots and paid for them. It took the receipt to work and got the $90 reimbursement that my company pays once a year for steel toe boots.
Then, around mid Nov. I discovered and got stunk into the world of Indy gear and learned all about the fine details of Indy's attire, including boots. Low and behold I find that Carolina boots makes a steel toe boot that passes for Aldens - and guess how much: $89.99.
I'm not eligable for another $90 shoe reimbursement till Nov. 2004.
If I had discovered Indygear a month earlier, I'd be sitting right now in a pair of Indy style work boots and have paid $0 out of pocket.
Now, if you'll please excuse me, I'm going to go into the next room and beat my head against the wall....
