Cleaning an Adventurebilt at home

Post by Bruce Wayne »

I need to clean my ABC beaver fedora. I've read how to do it with naphtha in a bucket. My question is do I need to take the liner & sweat out of it to do so?

Thanx!!!

I have done it both ways.
Funny, after a bath, the Steve Delk signature showed up lots better.

I don't think the naphtha would cause any harm to the liner. It would help clean the sweatband, but probably cause some drying of the leather so be sure to moisturize after.
