Here's my "delema"......
Last summer I bought a WPG bag from Ebay and I was quite pleased with. When I recieved it, (which was fine) I positioned the buckle so it'd be in the center of my chest. It looked ok to me so I left it the way it was. Something has bothered me since then, so I did some homework and looked at numerous pix of Indy and how his jacket fell over the bag....if it even did at all, where was the buckle in relation to the chest? Was it in the center? How much of the bag did the jacket cover? Blah, blah, blah....yatta, yatta, yatta. So now I found out where the bag falls and how much should be covered by the jacket, and that the buckle is off-center most of the time.....the only time (that I can recollect) that the buckle is in the center is when Indy sticks his chest out in the Temple with the idol in Raiders. So now I have it right where I want it and my question is.....
How do I get rid of the molded "leather" that the buckle made? It's hard to explain I guess, so I'm doing my best... ...for a year the buckle hasn't moved, now that I moved it, the leather formed to that setting. I hope you guys can get what I mean.
I should also mention that I plan on getting a Keppler strap eventually....I'll worry about it when I get the essentials first, i.e:shirt, pants, fed., and maybe an idol lol.
