Goat skin A2 Collar Roll and Care

I was wondering if anyone has some advice concerning care for a goat skin A2. It's an LL Bean weathered A2 w/ button down collar. I love this jacket and have worn it for 18 years. I have two issues though. 1). Over time the collar has rolled up along the base so it no longer lies flat; the only thing that keeps the tips from curling up is the snaps on the collar--does anyone have a suggestion for fixing this? 2). I've been in a very dry climate for over a year and can feel the leather drying out--any recommendations for a good leather conditioner that won't change the color?
