What does everybody think M.B.A. Noel Howard's Shirts ???
Back when I started getting into this, Noel Howard was still around and I was going to buy most of my stuff from him but life happened, I got out of it for awhile and he passed. What's everybody's thoughts on M.B.A's Raider shirts ?? I know I just raved about WPG's shirts but like everybody on here you can never have enough, always collecting.

I have a few of them and I have always thought they were/are wonderful shirts. The only thing that I ever found is that the epaulettes rode a little too far forward. May just be my build.

No, I owned one many years ago and experienced exactly the same thing with mine, so I think it was the pattern of his shirts.Canasta wrote:The only thing that I ever found is that the epaulettes rode a little too far forward. May just be my build.

Fabulous shirt, the only one bar none, that has the correct fabric.

I'll second that, KT. Noel Howard is THE Indiana Jones shirt. It's all about that light poplin fabric which turns dark brown with sweat or water. Even Wested (and I love Wested's stuff) can't touch Noel Howard's Indy shirt, although their Indy trousers come #### close.

In my humble opinion Noel Howard's Indy shirt is the benchmark by which all other shirts are judged.

Remember Andre Dometakis, back in the 90's? Folks paying $400+ to get an Indy shirt from the original designer, and sometimes receiving the shirt with the wrong color fabric or buttons? Glad I never went down THAT road, but thank goodness for Noel. The man delivered.

I've always had fondness for my Noel Howard shirt, as it was my first real piece of Indy Gear.
Noel even contacted my wife and told her that this is what she was giving me for christmas that year.
My only problem with the shirt was it was a bit too lightweight.
It really was more of a costume and not so much a real world piece of apparel.
But all in all, still a very nice shirt.

Ok, that settles it I'm taking a shot at this shirt. He had told me years ago that it was very lightweight so, whatever. We'll see what happens, be happy that another COW member gets a Noel Howard product.

My recollection ias that they are a military cut, so slimmer then normal.
I have a large, and would have preferred a XL. I'm 6', with 26" sleeve length.
Depending on your shoulder width & sleeve length, a large sounds like it may be about right.

Can you still get these or do you have to go through the second-hand market?
