Before I got my Aldens, I had a pair of Rockport Farnums. These have now become my primary "hiking" boot - not for heavy-duty backpacking, but I love them on canoe trips - and I'm now looking at getting them re-soled. I love the light weight soles that came original, but my shoe-repair guy says they'll be a bit pricey and that it may be cheaper to get new boots.
So, I'm wondering if anyone can lead me to a vendor who carries the Farnums at a reasonable price. I've Googled around a bit but no luck on finding a vendor with stock. Are they still being made?
Any help appreciated.

Re: Rockport Farnum
I'm pretty sure they are no longer being made.

What size do you need? I have a hardly worn size 11 I'd part with.

Well, that explains why I can't find a vendor with stock. Thanx.
