Kotcs coyles raiders distressing
Hey guys I just bought my coyles raiders fedora and some of todds movie dirt costume for the fedora but can i get some tips on what to do? I heard some people say a paint brush is the way to go and using a sock? Help guys!

i heard the sock way, you fill it ( all the way , i don't know) and then you tap the hat and it will leave the dust on the hat . i hope that gives you an idea . but i'm sure someone will lead you to the thead which has the tutorial on it .

Me I used a make up brush you can buy at any pharmacy like Rite Aid or CVS, it's collapesable so when you take the cover off, you push the bottom up and up comes the brush, when done, reverse. . This keeps the brush from getting ruined.
What I do is brush it on liberly, then brush it off, work in areas that you'd feel would get dirtest, for me I used the SOC pictues as guide. I know KOTCS is weathered differently, but its just messin around. Don't like it, give it a good brush down with another brush (no dirt, natch)
Tpic below doesn't do it justice, but for me less is more, I like it suttle, heck I want to wear it with everyone thinking... poor guy, needs a new hat.
