Post by pmgilmer »

Just got an email from Skip today telling me my order was finished! Here are a couple pics he sent me. It's one of the 7' WB bullwhip he sells. If you want one too, check out his website handmadewhips.com.
Thank you for the great service, Skip! I can't wait to get my hands on this beauty!
-Paul

Next whip I'll be receiving is a special whip Bernardo Del Carpio and I have been dreaming up. He'll be working with me on a whole article about it, so stay tuned. ;-)

POST UPDATED!!! SEE MY OTHER WHIP FROM SKIP FARTHER DOWN!! I JUST WON IT OFF eBay!!

Hey Paul. Skip is the master of wooden handled bulls. I really like the way he still uses traditional American materials for whipmaking, yet providing a whip which stands out from its predecessors.

Beautiful work!!!

Aldo.

That 2 tone one is Gorgeous!
I like the little diamond patterns that are about half way down the thong. Nice detail!

Congrats on two great looking whips!

I saw that beauty after my order was already shipped...otherwise I just might have not been able pass it up!...I still might not. ;-) Beautiful, Skip, simply beautiful!!...I'll defiantly be adding one of these (or one like it) to my "arsenal" in the near future!

I saw that on eBay, and thought "OOOH, pretty! Me want!"

Now, I'm kinda glad I didn't bid, (don't get me wrong. I'm jealous as heck, but I'm glad to see it went to a good home, and I can enjoy it vicarously through posts here...and you WILL post here about it, won't you? :| :| :| )

BUT what kept me from bidding was money issues, (and who ISN'T having those!) and the fact that Skip and I have already spent a great deal of time planning out a pretty impressive-lookin' whip!

(Hi Skip! We need to talk! My birthday's coming up, and I have a bride-to-be that doesn't know what to get me! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!)

Congrats on BOTH, and crack 'em with pride!

All the best,

Dan
