pants question? updated ++ new pants dyed pics

Post by indyclone »

i picked up these pants at a local goodwill store and they have the pockets i was looking for in a indiana jones pants, most other stores i find pants with no flaps on the back pockets , in these photos they look darker than they really look they look a bit green and i am wondering should i try and die them ? and if i do should i just use a little brown die or the whole box , i think if i use the whole box the pants would become to dark and i would want to have them a bit lighter wouldnt i? well here is the photos of the pants , let me know what you think? and any help would be much appreciated. :D oh by the way the tag inside the pants said claireborne, i sure hope they arent womans pants

If you dye them at all, I would just put a SMALL amount in. Are there pleats on the front?- I can't tell from the angle.

Just remember- when using dye, start out light because you can always go darker if you have to.

The color came out really nice. What kind of fabric are they? They look almost like linen.

the material is kinda thin and linen feeling, but they do look much better after i dyed them. once i wash them a few more times to get any excess dye out they might look even better ,
