An older G&B

Post by Zendragon »

I got this jacket back in 2001 from Lee Keppler and to my knowledge, it was a second or something back then. It was a 42 made to measure and I guess it didn't fit.

Anyway, I don't wear it much, it doesn't fit me that well either, but I thought I would take some pics to share.

Note the leather though and some of the texture.

Interesting jacket. It looks fairly 'Bantu Wind' like in design other than strap anchoring

Great jacket although I don't see much more texture (or "different" texture) than a USW I got last summer or other standard leathers. Looks nice and soft, though.

That may be. I was just noting the texture in comparison to some of the smoother offerings out there

An earlier version of the pockets too. More LC than raiders, almost square with long flaps. Rundquist had a jacket that looked like this too - a prototype, perhaps... A nice thing.

I don't know the full history of it, I know that there were changes made to their pattern after this jacket. I am not sure what changed though.
