LC Nowak #244 of 333 w/gear

Post by Han Jones »

This is my newest Nowak. LC in CS leather. The leather really lends itself to being a great LC. It is lighter than my itialian cowhide.

Your collection is too small. I think you still need to get a CS in Raiders Lamb, a ToD in CS horsehide, and a Raiders with CS stormflaps and ToD buckles with LC cowhide.

Fantastic jacket. An LC just has to have that distressing.

Does the surface of it feel smooth, or is it more textured and dry? Also, does it feel "thick", or does it have a thinner feel like lamb?

I think it looks good.

As always, you're "The Man" Han Jones!......may I ask what you do for a living that allows you to splurge on $1K jackets on a weekly basis? :D....and can I be on your payroll?

I agree. It's got that LC "arch" right around the collar stand. Did you have Tony modify the CS pattern or did you train it?

tony has a go-by LC pattern which is different than the CS. the size of it looked bang on to me, but it didn't sit right, right out of the bag.....han's look's very good now which is why i am assuming that it needed some training........or it evolved into that......the end result is awesome imo.

Han, are those the default pockets that Tony uses, or did you send him measurements of what you wanted? Also, how far up from the bottom are they? 2 1/2 or 3 inches?

Thanks

I think both Han and orb sent heir own pocket preference request, so if you are thinking you like a certain pocket you'll have to specifically ask for it.

Awesome outfit and gear. You wear it well!

Only one suggestion: Iron the pants, then let them wrinkle naturally through wear. You don't want them to look like Indy dug them out from the bottom of the hamper.

Otherwise, get the rest of you as distressed as that fine jacket and you're set!

Looking good, my friend! :D

Michael
Speaking in Han's defense (not that he needs any  ), he participates in the annual Atlanta 'DragonCon' parade each year in Indy gear, and BELIEVE me, he has it 'down' pat. Don't let these photos give you any wrong ideas. He knows the 'look', and exactly how to achieve it when it's required....and has for years. :M:

HIGH regard! Michaelson

Thanks RC. I dont mean to steal the thunder from Hans post, I was just wondering what size I need to make my pockets. I was going use the measurements off of my Manoli but its basically a size 40 and the one I'm going to order from Tony will be a 42. Maybe its not that much of a difference where I wont have to change the pocket size :-k

Han, that's a great LC jacket. I really dig the tie, it's a rare addition even around these parts. 8)

I believe both Han and orb have posed the pocket and flap sizes they used.

I thought you had your ultimate LC jacket so what was the purpose of this one? Was the last one just a bit off after having it for a while? I actually like your first LC much better than this one. Still looks good, just dig the first one more.

Sooooooo...what's next?

No the first one is great. I just wanted one a bit lighter in weight for the warmer times. Plus I really like the hide and wanted to see what it would look like in a CS hide. I have the raiders lining in this one to lighten it up more. I can say for sure I have never got a jacket from Tony that was off. I guess the reason I have gotten so many is because I need to get my lifetime supply now..like everyone he won't be around forever.
