Where do you get your Poppers?

I make my own, it's cheaper and faster than getting premade ones shipped to me.

I buy mine. They're only like a dollar a piece, making them just isn't worth my time and energy.

I do make my own now, but there was a learning curve to be able to "tune" the hand made popper to the fall, etc. I've used both polyprop, and nylon thread, and went thru many of each to get it down just right for the whip. I make most of them now with poly twine...

I make my own polyprop ones too, but every once in a while I like to buy from a few from Joe Strain (or whoever) because I don't have that sweet tough black nylon that everybody uses and I really like that stuff. :-k :whip:

Don't buy poppers, they are a major rip off. Make your own because you can buy a spool for $12 and end up with hundreds. Most places are going to charge around the amount of a spool for just a few or around $1 per popper. If you end up buying premade poppers and continue to do so, you are just losing a bunch of money. Making your own is easy anyway and it gives you control of length, weight, and colors.
