Sceen Used LC shoulder bag manufacturer?
Was kinda curious if anyone has ever identified who manufactured the gas mask bag used in LC. They used it as the hero bag in CS. I have a W+G which has been identified as being the brand used in Raiders. Was it ever used in any of the other films?
So, this is my first post. I've enjoyed this place for a while, but this is the first time I've gotten to post! I'ma little bit technologically challenged. I'm rather interested in which bag was used in LC/KotCS aswell. I have a WG and absolutely love it. I like it better than another brand that I have (can't remember the manufacturer right now.) but I've noticed though, that it doesn't have the metal eyelet that we see on the top center pocket at the beginning of LC on the boat, or in the picture in the great "behind the scenes" book on KotCS where Harrison is leaned up against the car at the beginning.
So, anybody out there own a WG that has the metal eylet on the little center pocket?
Or do you guys think that they just tried to find a bag that had the smooth snaps (as oppossed to the swirly or multi circle snaps) and ended up with a different maker for LC/KotCS?
If so, anybody have a bag that matches that description? Who was the manufacturer? Thanks in advance.

That's funny. I was wondering about that bag the other day! If guys with the MK VII bags that have the smooth snaps could check their bags to see if they have the little metal eyelet on the small center pocket and let us know the maker if they have them, I think we might could get to the bottom of this. We would also need the WG owners to check theirs to see if any of them have the eyelet. Really, any of the vintage MK VII bags are cool, but it would be fun to know which exact maker was used in LC/KotCS. Thanks!
Indiana G just stated in in new "Raiders Strap Isn't One Inch" thread that neither of his WG's have the eyelet. Awhile back I read of one of us who had gotten a bag that had the round snaps and the eyelet, but he couldn't read who the manufacturer was. Does anyone have a bag with the eylet and smooth snaps who's manufacturer is still visible on the inside flap?
I'm guessing that the bag with the snaps & eyelet that had the faded stamp you were referring to was mine. I have tried various times since this thread popped up to decypher what that stamp reads, but I havn't been able to work it out yet. Does anybody know where I can get this looked at under varying light frequencies? That would be the only way I could help to solve this riddle

IN KOTKS, when they're at Akator and Ox has just unbagged the skull and Indy is rounding up everyone to move them on, there's a second where the flap lifts up (it was left unbuttoned a lot in this movie). I zoomed in as much as I could, but I couldn't make out any mark. Maybe someone with blue-ray could. I think it flies open in the fist fight amongst the ants as well.
