Perfect the first time?
Whats happenin? I just recently ordered my first Wested, as some of you already know from my previous posts. Im going through the normal "2nd guessing phase," wondering if my jacket is going to fit right, and if everything that I ordered is going to be on the jacket. I was wondering how many people were happy with their jackets right out of the box? How many people had to send theirs back for minor alterations? Also if you do end up sending the jacket back, does your jacket get first priority?
Thanks

the second guessing phase is normalm dude, and the 3rd, 4th.
when i ordered my wested, i was totally worried. that 4-6 week wait. no probs though, everything was just as ordered and perfect(except for the fact that i didnt know that peter was cutting them slightly larger than normal as of late. in normally were a 40, so i ordered a 42, and im not so crazy about the xtra size, but it was no big deal, that was my prob).
lemme tell ya, i was so worried i decided that i was (if it didnt fit) going to get my money back and go with a USW. I was totally psyched up for it not to fit, but everything worked out great.
enjoy that wonderful wested man.

My first jacket from Wested didnt fit at all, the sleeves were too short, and it was too small all around. That was the worst two months ever!! (Let me say, if you do have to send it back, use fedex, NOT USPS - It took a MONTH to get there!) Took me about 3 tries to get it right, and its now practically perfect, the only thing my next jacket will need is a slight taper at the bottom....
But if you are confident in your measuring, or measured off a jacket, you should be fine!
Good luck
James

Besides the sleeves being a little long, it is absolutely perfect. And actually, the longer sleeves go away when I wear anything thicker than a long sleeve t-shirt.
The only thing I wish I had gotten was goatskin as opposed to the lamb, but I think I like the lamb better, and it hasn't ripped yet (knock on wood) .
Peace,

I always get the fit absolutely correct, but it seems to me it's the hardware that always gets screwed up . I sent along illustrations and print-outs of the Raiders jacket along with my specs for my third Wested. That was 3 weeks ago. I mailed Peter several days ago to be certain he'd gotten it and understood it all but no response from Wested yet. PETER. If you're reading this, please e-mail me back. I'd appreciate it.
