Beak / Swoop...

Post by Rickcasino 325 »

Ok so i've been playing with the bashes and I have the look that I like for that.

Just a little bit of refining and i'll be happy with it.

I guess the disconnect is at the brim shape. If I understand turning the hat will create this shape .. which is the bird beak in front and the swoop in back (side profile) as well as the swoosh "raised eyelid" look from the front profile.

Am I missing something? Is this a really hard shape to achieve for some head shapes?

Cheers,

P.S. I read several of the threads pertaining to this I just can't seem to get it right... any suggestions?

Upon further review of the FAQ I found a really good link already provided... If any of you have more to add I would be happy to hear it.

I guess the trick is just finding the magic spot for YOUR head.

The rounder your head, the more difficult it is to achieve the turn. Some people can't get it without turning the hat a lot and repositioning the ribbon.

iv found the turn almost impossible to do as i have a rounder head. in that case its better to go for a TOD bash or a CS bash :)
