I bought the indiana Jones licensed crushable fedora and it a great hat and all but the back of the brim is bothering me a little.
my brim is where I drew in the red. The hat is made of wool and felt. Anyone have any idea's on how I can get it straightened out?
thanks!

The hat in the photo has been most likely steamed and re-bashed to give it a more screen-accurate look. Most likely ToD since that's the best look you can get out of a Dorfman
I have the exact same hat unless I fold the back of the brim up, it goes down to the same "red zone" as yours. A lot of casual Indy fans that want fedoras are being fooled by these Indy-hats as they are NOT accurate whatsoever to Indy's fedora.
If you want a cheap & durable Indy hat, you're better off getting a Akubra Federation IV.

Is it just too floppy to hold its shape? If not a bit of moisture via water should allow you to reshape the brim a bit, although this is difficult with wool hats as they don't like to be reshaped. However, if the hat's just too floppy, then you're going to need some felt stiffener to make it retain a shape.
You can’t! Dorfman Pacific usually puts a plastic ring inside the sewed edge of the brim, your only choices are cutting down the brim manually (a great opportunity to do a dimensional cut), but you need a sharp knife (X-Acto cutter) and a steady hand for a clean cut, or simply unsew the brim edge and leave it plain, but I like the first one better.
There’s a lot more you can do to a DP, but still is really hard to get a SA result, I suggest upgrading if you are not happy with it.

I think I may have salvaged this hats brim. Fink, thanks for the advice, I hat to use a pair of scissors though. Its left its a little rough but I think it makes it look weathered. You guys tell me what you think.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother trying. The amount of work you've done with this is excellent, but for the amount of work you're considering doing now, you might as well get a new hat, especially since wool hats are virtually impossible to rebash or reblock. All I need to do now is get a new ribbon and rebash the crown
Were I you, I'd just invest in a camptown, or if you don't feel you can put down that much money, an akubra federation. :junior: -M
