Look great!

One suggestion: spray some water on shirt, neck and face to simulate the famous "Indy's Adventure Sweat" (TM)! :D

Seems to depend on the light: on the left pic looks clean, right looks "adventured in". Perhaps a more liberal dusting of fullers will do the trick? Keep the five o'clock shadow as well. Will it be inside or out? And will you be jacketed, or going SOC style? In the end, what represents Indiana Jones to the majority of non gear heads?

Eric, that is one AWESOME looking setup you have. I think that's one of the best looking jackets and gear compilations I've seen yet. I'm fairly certain you'll win, all of your gear is too #### good looking for you to lose.

And if you do lose, just adjust you collar and ask the judge, "Are you trying to develop a sense of humor or am I going deaf?"

I guess we dont have to tell You, that Your gear is fine. You allready know how it's supposed to be :D

BUT!!! Soak those pants in hot water for a couple of hours and let them drip-dry afterwards. That will remove the folds. Also, the gunbelt looks very much like one of Todd's thin ones - A little too rounded and the keeper too thin. It may be the photo, bot now that You're dressing for the Raiders config. You might as well get the details right :D

BTW: Are those Aldens?...

Cheers

I add my vote to getting a little more Fuller's Earth on your hat. I guess that my pants probably look too new, like yours, so that didn't bother me, but there are some good suggestions above. I hope you pack a camera in your MarkVII bag and share with us. Having a party like that is something that I wish we could do here. It sounds like fun.

That looks really good. And you'll probably win regardless of whether you do anymore or not. People at the party will probably think you stole the clothes right off Harrison Ford. Remember, it doesn't take much for non-gearheads to to think something is SA.

Looks really good though!

Great costume.

Have you aged the buckle on the web pants belt? Surely someone has discussed aging or dulling buckles and metal. Sleep in those pants, spray some water on them to loose the creases. Nice job!

Nice! Gorgeous shots & great gear!

I think you've just reinforced my desire to buy some Rockport Farnums! Now if only I could find a store that has them in stock so I can try them on.....

btw, are they the dark brown ones distressed, or are they the light browns but oiled up?

great lookin gear Holt. all i can say is +1 on distressing the pants a bit.
Here's a tried and true method for Adventure Distressed Clothing: Wear the garment every day for aboutit. Then on the next to last day, go roll in the dirt, and I mean REALLY get into it; it helps if you've got a dog to wrestle with. Then beat your clothes against a brick wall to shake out the extra dirt.
You are now ready to go. The key is to look as if you've lived in the outfit.

hello IH,

your gear looks fantastic! would you please give us a rundown or list of all your gear pictured in those pics!

I say we start a new rule ...anytime a gear member posts a picture of them wearing their gear they should be required to list where each gear-piece came from...what say you guys?

thanks for reading,
JOA

PS- just recently someone started a thread where everyone listed all their gear (but i cant find this thread now...can anyone point to it please?). but in this thread most people only listed the items but didnt include pics. perhaps we can create a "post your gear-only" sticky thread at the top of the general gear forum where everyone can eventually not only list their gear but also post a picture of themselves. anyway just my thoughts.

Holt,

Great looking gear. Good luck with the costume competition. Can't imagine anyone else being better dressed. I like the color of the Todd's shirt in the sunlight too. The more I see it in different lighting, the more I like it. Can't wait to get mine. This gear quest can get expensive, huh?

So did you win? The gear looks great Holt. How is the Christy's treating you? I want to buy my father a hat and don't know whether to get the Chrity's or the Federation. He won't be putting it through much abuse so I'm thinking the Christy's would be a good choice. Seems to be dressier than the Federation.

Bummer!!! Indy could kick Freddie's arse any day of the week, awake or in dreamland!! You should demand a "Florida Re-count" look how well it worked for Pres. Bush....

Oh well, you still have excellent gear....
