I met her & Indiana Jones himself Harrison Ford at the paramount screening of Indy 4 for a handfull of people - my screenwriting teacher was able to get me in since he's on some special committee.

I was obviously dressed in full Indy garb and after the show I jumped in front of Harrison Ford to shake his hand and tell him he was my hero - but no camera's were allowed so I couldn't take a pic with him - but after we left the screening I caught up with Karen Allen to take that pic.

WOW! That must have been amazing. It still surprises me how good she looks. It may be that I had a thing for her when I was young...had. Who am I kidding. I still have a thing for her!

Ya know everyone wants a copy - sadly theyI broke the mold after they made her - so no more copies - sigh

And the Jacket - Wested - Raiders - lambskin - water soaked and sandpapered many times to get the right look.

 Yes yes, I was kidding!!!! Great pic though, really. She looks stunning! Did you feel the Marion Vibe just standing next to her?

Did Harrison say anything about your gear? Did you tell him you "were on a mission from [COW]?"

What a lucky day you had, and the picture with Ms. Allen is to die for. She looks fantastic. I could fall for her more and more each day since 1981 and still never get tired of seeing her. I hope that you will never forget that opportunity and treasure that moment for a lifetime.

Your gear looks good, too, but my eyes are to your right, always.

Yeah Harrison did comment on the outfit

- It wasn't much it was really just more of a "WOW" He gave me a once over and then he laughed and that was about it really but it was still amazing!

I said to him "Sir your my hero" and he said thank you and I shook his hand and then I turned to Karen Allen who was standing at his shoulder and I said "And boy am I in love with you." And she smiled and laughed - and then I don't really remember to be honest I think they just walked passed - but I was so on a high at that moment so I didn't care.

It's funny at the screening there were some very stuffy folks so I stood out like a sore thumb - I nearly knocked over an old lady to jump in front of Harrison as he was leaving - I wasn't gonna mis this opportunity!!!

Hey Mooniteman, what size jacket are you wearing in the pic? For a Wested Raiders, it seems rather long. My Wested Raiders only extends to just above my hip.

I Think there are two interesting issues in this thread

1. The best part of getting older is seeing and appreciating the Beauty of maturity.

2. How many people were looking at the Jacket

I wouldn't worry about that - you probably checked her "he's a little weird" box when you proclaimed your love for her while dressed in full Indygear! Might as well have gone the extra mile.
