Just wanted to see what you thought of this:
How do you like it?
They are fully functional airsoft pistols - cylinder swings open, action works (single and double) and the trigger pull is actually very nice. I swear, it looks and feels (and operates) like the real thing.
You can read about it here:

Should I put the silver band on the barrel? Should I distress it? They're so nice and new looking, it's hard to imagine messing them up.
I also have two others on the way - the other S&W (with the ramp sight) made out of an M29, and a Browning Hi-Power.

Sweet! Just a thought for your business, why not distress and/or add the silver band at an additional cost?

I would give the silver band as an option for an additional cost. I guess you mean the mark from the cut down barrel. I can't tell if the barrel is 4" or not, it almost looks like it's 4.5" but I really cannot tell with any certainty. The cylinder looks less blocky and longer, so it at least gives a good impression that the barrel is fairly short.

Looks #### amazing! #### I'm okay with weathering! Offer some weathered and some not - for an extra charge.

i've got the same tanaka M10 but without the lanyard ring.....i really enjoy it and it makes for an excellent holster filler for sure.

Is it still functional after you add the lanyard ring?
Is that the Tanaka?
If so, then I answered my own question.

Indy G, do you have the standard finish or the plated blue finish? These are plated and they are truly lovely. It reminds me of the great charcoal bluing and high polish they used to do.
The lanyard ring does not alter the function.
Thanks for the comments. So far, the majority (by far) want it pristine factory condition. Okay. The band can always be painted on by the owner (very easily). I guess I could offer it both ways.

Out of curiosity, are they all metal?

Very NICE!!!!
I was thinking of getting a real S&W model 10 or Victory. This may be better as I probably could carry it in public. Just gotta keep saving those pennies!!

Anyone bought this Tanaka revolver from Todd? How is it?
Maybe someone has own pics?

This is almost identical to the Airsoft FBI Issue version. The barrel is metal as well as the trigger assembly and hammer. Everything else is plastic.
From the looks of where the lanyard ring is placed I would have to say it was screwed into the gas cartridge hole.
I don't know what the MOD pieces are made of though.
The nickel silver Tanaka S & W M10 go for $145.00 so $199.00 for the mods is not too bad of a price.

EDITED: Todd replied back. The orange tip is required by US Federal law for shipping.
Todd,
I know you mention the orange tip in your product pages for all of the air soft guns you offer. I wonder why you don't show the photo of them instead of the misleading one without the orange tip.

I see that my disclaimer was sufficient to keep you from being mislead.
Since buyers must be over 18, I expect that they are smart enough to understand that the photos show the gun after the orange paint is removed. If I were buying it, I would want to be sure that I could remove the paint, and the photos demonstrate that.
