They are fully functional airsoft pistols - cylinder swings open, action works (single and double) and the trigger pull is actually very nice. I swear, it looks and feels (and operates) like the real thing.
I would give the silver band as an option for an additional cost. I guess you mean the mark from the cut down barrel. I can't tell if the barrel is 4" or not, it almost looks like it's 4.5" but I really cannot tell with any certainty. The cylinder looks less blocky and longer, so it at least gives a good impression that the barrel is fairly short.
Indy G, do you have the standard finish or the plated blue finish? These are plated and they are truly lovely. It reminds me of the great charcoal bluing and high polish they used to do.
The lanyard ring does not alter the function.
Thanks for the comments. So far, the majority (by far) want it pristine factory condition. Okay. The band can always be painted on by the owner (very easily). I guess I could offer it both ways.
I was thinking of getting a real S&W model 10 or Victory. This may be better as I probably could carry it in public. Just gotta keep saving those pennies!!

Todd
mine is the standard finish/military finish. i wouldn't mind seeing some pics of that bad-boy in the sunlight
EDITED: Todd replied back. The orange tip is required by US Federal law for shipping.
Todd,
I know you mention the orange tip in your product pages for all of the air soft guns you offer. I wonder why you don't show the photo of them instead of the misleading one without the orange tip.
I see that my disclaimer was sufficient to keep you from being mislead.
Since buyers must be over 18, I expect that they are smart enough to understand that the photos show the gun after the orange paint is removed. If I were buying it, I would want to be sure that I could remove the paint, and the photos demonstrate that.
