How does one get an XL Indy shirt?

Post by henryindianajonesjr44 »

:?: How can I get a shirt like Indy's in Xl
I have the fedora the whip the Jacket and the pants but not the shirt
I live nowhere close to anywhere that sells a shirt like his. And I hate using a credit card so I wil not buy it online.
If you can help please do so.

Hmmmm, well if you go into Indygear's "shirt" section, they list many of the "alternative" shirts. I "think" I saw a shirt offered even from K-mart that wasn't looking too shabby! However, if you want the real deal shirt, that would be Noel Howard of London. Perhaps get his mailing address and send him a money order or something through the mail. I too ordered an Extra Large shirt. To me, personally, I don't like clothing real tight, so I went a size up and it actually fits me like a "regular" large normally fits me. But that was just a suggestion, but keep us udated!

Regards!

If you're wanting to get a Noel Howard, I've heard (from members here at COW) that his shirts run a wee bit small compared to standard sizes.

Maybe we are all getting a bit too fat and don't want to face reality...

Kind regards

The Cabela's Safari shirt comes in sizes Medium through 5X and is a very comfortable shirt. I wear the XXL. When I purchased mine they were out of Stone and I had to settle for Tan (At the time it was close enough for my purposes) but now I hear they have stone available again. It isn't exactly like Indy's, but is an inexpensive option for a not too much different than Indy's shirt.

I, too ordered a NH XL, and it fits VERY well. I am 6'2', 260Lbs., and it has that 'loose' look and feel of an Indy shirt. I highly recommend going the Noel Howard route, as this is the only shirt I have seen with the 'pleats' running through the pockets. Once you have it, all other Safari-style shirts will absolutely pale in comparison. Like hanging a vinyl rope off of your belt, rather than getting the Morgan bullwhip. In this hobby, authenticity is key (says the guy with the Mark VI gasmask bag) Hey, at least the NH shoulder strap is authentic!!!!!
