Keppler holster & homemade gunbelt

Post by RichardSK »

Just received Lee's holster after vacillating between a Keppler or an AB holster. Frugality won out and I could not be happier with his product. I had expected the leather to be the usual orange color that would have had to be adjusted and I had planned my alteration techniques when I was pleasantly suprised to find that it was exactly the color necessary. The quality is fantastic as well as its SA. It not only fits my S & W repro that I posted a few months back, but it is also capable of handling my S & W 686 combat magnum with 4" barrel. I can't recommed his product highly enough. I also have a photo of the gunbelt I made by grinding and reshaping the buckle. I solved the problem of my whip slipping in the holder by coating the inside with aquarium sealant silicone.

Go to the general gear section and page 11. About half way down you will see my entry titled "Wested gear-got the gunbelt".
