Before I buy...
Before I drop the money and buy a pair of Aldens, what do I need to know? I ordered them from a small men's specialty clothing store in my area, but I want to be sure I am gettign exactly what Indy had before I buy them. What is the current color of the leather? Can I just shine them with a cordovan type shoe polish to make them more accurate if need be? What is the latest with these fine boots? Thanks for your help and opinions!

Magum,
Although it's not cheap, you can special order the Aldens so you can get a brand new pair that is brown instead of pumpkin orange. The additional cost, I believe, is $75.
So, I guess it's opportunity cost, you know? You need to figure out (cost wise/how valuable is your time, etc.) how much time and effort and supplies you will put into the new Aldens to get them the color you want or, you can special order them brown from the factory.
