Hi Chris,

I was on Jerry's mass emailing list, and I found out he moved to just north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I sent him an email hoping I could go visit him, but I never got a reply. That was this winter (summer for you). It made me wonder if he didn't try to get completely out of whipmaking.

I'd give you the email I had, but I think I deleted it. If it turns out I didn't, I'll get it to you.

Yes, if anyone finds out what became of Jerry I would like to know as well. Haven't heard from him in a while, and I recently repaired a whip that he made for someone and I was wondering why they just didn't go to Jerry. Not that I minded doing the repair, but it got me to wondering what he is up to these days.

Here's the last email I got from Jerry:
Well we are finally in Wisconsin. Made it through our
first -15 degree weekend, I even had the privilege of
being sent out to plow snow for the company. (I would
have been very easy if I had to send out a Texan in a
snow plow on crowded parking lots!) I made it though
without hitting any cars or tearing up any fences.

We are living in Cedarburg, WI. about 40 mi N of
Milwaukee and about 10 miles from Lake Michigan.

Will write more later.

Please note the new email address. The current one
will probably go away after another week or so.

EMail address: jerryrwm@sbcglobal.net

All our best,

The Rasmussen's

Jerry and Natalie
I hope this helps you Chris.

If that doesn't work, you might try posting on the Yahoo Groups Whip enthusiasts page and see if anyone there has his most current contact info in the event that his email has changed.
