Ive had this hat for a little while now but im really curious to see what you guys (and gals) think of it.
Now I will admit that it swoops down a bit in the front but overall I think it has turned out pretty well!
And heres one of my hat sitting next to his newly acquired friend.

I think you did a fine job with that hat! It seems a good number of folks have been getting good results with their Akubras lately.

Great job! I really like the first pic, it looks very Young Indy to me. The Akubras are awesome hats the more you were them, the better they get.

Those are great pictures. I especially like that swoop you have on your brim. It looks very good. You put a nice bash on there as well. Great job.

That hat has all the appearance of taking on the personality of the owner from regular use!
WELL done! You wear it well!

I got this in about november and she hasnt seen much use with Washingtons rain season (september through may). I really wanted her for the spring and summer!

Just an fyi. Getting stuck in a rainstorm is the perfect time to 'tweak' the bash on your lid. The last time it happened to me I added some curl to the sides of my brim. I let the hat dry and have been thrilled with the results.

Yeah, im not to worried about getting it wet, I just didnt want it to taper all to heck before i really got a chance to wear it!
And thanks so much for the comments, I am really happy with it but hearing it from you guys is GREAT!
