Ive had this hat for a little while now but im really curious to see what you guys (and gals) think of it.

Now I will admit that it swoops down a bit in the front but overall I think it has turned out pretty well!

I think you did a fine job with that hat! It seems a good number of folks have been getting good results with their Akubras lately. :wink:

Great job! I really like the first pic, it looks very Young Indy to me. The Akubras are awesome hats the more you were them, the better they get.

Those are great pictures. I especially like that swoop you have on your brim. It looks very good. You put a nice bash on there as well. Great job.

Its the Deluxe.
how old is it?
I got this in about november and she hasnt seen much use with Washingtons rain season (september through may). I really wanted her for the spring and summer!

Just an fyi. Getting stuck in a rainstorm is the perfect time to 'tweak' the bash on your lid. The last time it happened to me I added some curl to the sides of my brim. I let the hat dry and have been thrilled with the results.

Yeah, im not to worried about getting it wet, I just didnt want it to taper all to heck before i really got a chance to wear it!

And thanks so much for the comments, I am really happy with it but hearing it from you guys is GREAT!
