I have THIS place to thank for my leather jacket obsession. It all started out innocently with my first off the rack Wested, then a US Wings CE, then a Gibson and Barnes Expedition, then another US Wings. Ok 4 Indy jackets, 4 movies stop there...????? NO, A 30th Anniversary Hero on order from US Wings. Don't even get me started on my A-2, and flying jacket collection. That's another 6 jackets! Thankfully I have good job and very understanding wife.

Looking forward to cooler weather so I can wear my collection again.

I had to laugh at myself a few minutes ago. We're under a heat advisory here in my area today (have been for the past couple of days), and for some reason these big old heavy leather jackets don't interest me in the least today.

The workmanship is beautiful!

Woah, that ***** about the vertabrae! But glad you are recovering smoothly.

much nicer in the waist now...they got my sizing on the waist correct I see and it finally came together. can't wait to see it relaxed after break-in on you, and make sure you zip those cuffs closed for wearing after wetting so it all breaks in to form correctly.

Looks perfect now!!

I know what you mean about the size nailing....When I get my Aero..(any time now)...and it fits...well...I've already got my eye on the Highwayman.....(It's a deviation from their regular patterns)

The First Avenger jacket looks the mutt's nuts!!...Can't wait to see that!!

P - I still think you should at least relax it a bit to form with some wetness... it takes quite a bit of real hot air and hot water on this good leather to alter it's sizing at all. But hey, I can understand the age naturally route for some... it's just never been for me. :TOH:

Hey Patt. Jacket looks great. Wasn't sure when I saw the jacket-only pics a while back. But a great riding jacket.
I was at 252 last Xmas season. I'm down to 220 today. Feels great. BP is back to normal. Clothes fit better too. Odd side note. My sons great aunt or some relation, was Lizzie Borden. Creeps me out but I love it!
Feel better. Nice closet of hides! :TOH: to you.

I like it a lot!!!!! Are the stripes amber tan or another color? Also, what hide did you opt for in your x1?

I thought they were tan, and that provides an opportunity to point something out. Some people doubt amber tan stripes are the screen used color, even after Rick shared the screen used jacket. Your stripes and the stripes on my jacket are the SAME color and yet, depending on the lighting, they can appear brown or yellow. Nice!

Wrong on the stripe color fellas... P's Origins jacket in MI9 base color with BuckTan for the stripe/accents.
This was the combo I recommended to him when we were deciding his color desires in the beginning. There were quite a few jackets in Origins and the colors ranged greatly in them, even aside from the huge amounts of lighting change. Specifically this color combo contrasted nicely and gives the look of the Dirt road post Helicopter crash scenes and promo pics as it weathers. The range of stripe color in Origins I have seen go from darker Amber Tan to Orange to BuckTan depending on the jacket and the scene. The really AmberTan striped jackets tend to be seen mostly on the motorcycle shots, on top of the Hughie, and Stunt jackets. P's combo when new also matches directly to the Wolverine production artwork I have on hand as well, further solidifying it's significance.

Hollow, you have on your X1 the Dark Brown/Amber Tan combo I exactly matched up to Rick's properly lighted pics of the screen used X1. And P's X1 will use the same stripe combo with the Dark Brown Horse, this will contrast nicely and give a very nice look.

More distressing may be in store. Not sure just yet. Its hard to tell how much different the jacket in shot 2 and 3 is due to the difference in the amount of sunlight. I do LOVE this jacket!!!!!

_, looks great !!! Howd you screw your neck up? My buddy had to get three verts lower down fused from riding a hardtail. He was on the the road for three years and it took its toll. He's fine now but had to give up the hardtail for a nice cushy ultra classic. My cousin had to get three verts replaced in the neck with cadaver verts from an accident and was back riding in six months. Amazing what they can do these days. Good luck bro.
