Hey strones, Funny you should post a picture that has "Wrong length" on a ROLA Special lamb
But is it realy the wrong length? Ford is 6'1", so he would definately need a Long size, just as the ROLA Special is. Ad to that that it is not quite impossible that the film jacket went up to 3" or 4" below the waist, and the measurements I gave you would be perfect for someone who is 6'1".

Well, it's been 27 years since Ford was in
Raiders...maybe he shrunk a little as he got older.

I remember Peter said that he decided to make the ROLA special longer because some people was asking for a ToD lenght, and he made a mix of both styles:

Right back from vacation, read and noted all the comments.
Yes this first lot is long, maybe too long but as most people wanting a ROLA go for a TOD for length so I decided to blend the two.
The jacket is based on 80's cut, no inside facing, narrower arms and body and the first batch of 10 were in this new worn look lamb sample skin.
I intend to clear them out and start again.
The next batch will probably made in lambskin or a new hide I am playing with.

I have 2 Westeds.
1 Special offer Lambskin RAIDERS (with the big 6.5 x 8 pockets...but I like them)
and 1 Goatskin RAIDERS that is currently back with Wested getting the pockets altered to a size I like better.
I wish Wested would keep a "news" section on their site when they make alterations to the designs...it's kind of odd because we hear about the jacket changes through the grapevine or when a jacket comes with an unexpected change (that's how I learned!).
