Reach out, he has great customer service, (no pressure Karolian) but I had an issue with a mark on my first, and he swapped with no problems.
So as long as he has the 36, you should be all set.
But as far as the length, most of us have had to take them to a Taylor or seamstress.
Just ask for a military hem.
For the con you’re going to have to pin them temporarily, unless you can find some who can do it quick.
Good luck.

So instead of a return, you recommend asking for an exchange for a 36? Just wanting to make sure I have that right.

Update: the pants are now not available on the Karolin dry goods etsy, and the website is now empty?
Also the pants are gone from Karolin dry goods etsy now?
What are my chances of getting an exchange/refudn now? I lost a few more pounds and now the pants -almost- fit me, and i think staying on the diet until comic con I could make them fit better. (Staying on the diet for a month)

Items come and go on his website and his Etsy shop fairly regularly, so it's not necessarily cause for alarm. If I may make a suggestion; you'd be better served reaching out to Adam instead of asking his customers these questions, especially if time is a factor. As Croft mentioned, Adam takes customer service seriously and he's very friendly, so I'm sure he'll get back to you at his earliest convenience. His contact info can be found on both his website and his Etsy shop, so just shoot him an email. I'm sure he'll do whatever he can to help you out.
Good luck!

Thinking seriously about keeping the pants even though I already asked him for a refund. I didnt realize how much difference a few pounds would make. So after some consideration I tried them on with my boots and they are not 'too long' when considering the extra height the Indy boots give me, and I can always hem it a bit. But maybe dropping 3-4 pounds will make them more comfortable I think.

Goals to strive for, I know I could loose a few.
Sometimes my shirts will give me the incentive.
Good luck an can't wait for pic's from the CON.

Thanks, and I definitely will take pics at the con! Excited to try out new gear at the convention. Definitely as you said, buying an expensive outfit gives the motivation to fit better, even if that means dieting for a month. I already have dropped at least 4 pounds form when I initially tried them on. And a pound from when I tried them on for the second time. So I think 2-3 more and i'll be ready to Indy rock and roll.

Hey gang,
Sorry for being MIA on here! I tried accessing the site a few times and it said it was still down.
Yes, my website has kinda been a pain to deal with, so I had been redirecting traffic to my Etsy shop.
ALWAYS feel like you can reach out to me on Etsy or email (
KarolianDryGoods@gmail.com) for questions.
Sometimes I pull listings so I can double check inventory - I have oversold a few sizes in the past, and I hate having to tell someone I need to refund them because I am out of a certain size.
Anyhow, great to be back on here!
The new run of Berlin shirts are available! They came out great! If these do well, I can set up the next run from a film I haven't done yet.
I am hoping to gear up again soon (things have been insane working 7 days a week the past 4ish months) but John Rhys-Davies will be at a local con, so I feel like I gotta!

Slight update, I lost the weight and wore the pants at Comic Con. They fit me well, and I've been motivated since then to keep the weight off.

Alright gang,
The materials have been sent to the manufacturer for the next shirt!
I should have a sample in a few weeks.
Now, I am working with a new manufacturer who has a great reputation.
The exciting thing is that they are based in the USA and do everything in house.
As a result, prices *will* increase. I'm not sure by how much yet, but I will know soon after the sample arrives and they can give a quote - but they have said pricing is competitive.
I'll front a lot of capital for these, but a preorder will be a must - especially as I can get really granular with sizes ordered.
I think a lot of you will be TEMPted to add one to your collection.

Hey

I'm looking at Some pants and I wonder what to do if you are between sizes? I'm 40.55 inches in pants size so I'M not sure to go with 40 or go up to 42

Well, in general, ALWAYS go up in size. You can take it in but if it's too tight, you have to lose weight!

Hey gang,
The new sample is in!
I don't want to post full pics yet, but I'm really excited about this shirt! Made a bunch of changes and it will be a great fit for a few looks.
My question is...
Would folks want XXXL?
I have a min number I need to order per size, so if only a few people are looking for that size, I can't stock them.
These will definitely require a preorder - so I would need hard commitments for that sizing before I submit anything.
Thanks!

All right gang,
The time has come!
The new Made in America Adventure Shirts are ready for preorder!
These are my Skull/ToD shirt!
I can't really talk too much about how, but someone was kind enough to bring several shirts to meet a screen used one and take photos. So I am very confident on the color of these.
The material is one I have been using for close to 10 years, so I know it wears very well.
The buttons are a slim rimmed tan/olive with an X stitch.
The epaulets are shorter, and the pockets lower with a double pleated placketed cuff.
These are made in the US by a small shop, so you'd be supporting two very small businesses.
As such, the prices are higher, but these will really stand out. The preorder price is $130, after that they will retail for $155
If you're interested in the preorder, they will be run via PayPal invoices.
Please email:
Karoliandrygoods@gmail.com
Include your name, size, and shipping address.
Thanks!

Thanks fellas!
I won't have full grading until I submit all the sizing and fabric/buttons etc.
But the L has a back length of 29.75"
The preorder will run for awhile; I should have a video up on my Instagram page soon (just buried in work right now) but I'm really thrilled with these!

Hey gang,
I should have a full size chart soon - the pattern grading takes a bit of time.
I was able to confirm we can add 3 inches of length to each size!

Working on the new labels for the Made in America Temple shirts!
Using inspo from the Bermans + Nathan's labels.
Thinking of using the Grail Diary address as an Easter egg
I will be getting a stamp made to stamp in "Harrison Ford" on the bottom of the label as well as "Raiders II" in a grey ink

Small update on the MIA Temple shirts!
The labels are at the weavers!
I got a few questions on some changes on these.
We are doing a taller collar stand and a larger collar. The cotton is a very high certified cotton (same with the labels) and the buttons are the most accurate I've offered yet - both in color and size!

Did you change the length, or still at the 29.5’’
I kne know I nagging on this, but I hate when the untucks so easy.

I did communicate with the team that I want to add 3 inches in length to each size. I'm going to confirm before production starts - still sourcing best wholesale price on the fabric. Waiting to hear from the manufacturer.
But I finalized the label design AND I have a waterproof waterproof stamp on the way for the "RAIDERS II" label.
I'm super proud of this design.
They'll be a great ToD shirt.
I would also say they work well for Crusade (if you want a warmer color) and Skull - though skull has lighter buttons but the rest of the details appear to be the same.
I got *really* great reference for color from a screen used shirt, so I am really confident on the color choice.
These may be the last Indy style shirt for a bit - another Raiders run would be next - also Made In America.
So this is a very limited run - 100 shirts across all sizes. So get them while you can!
But I want to focus on The Man With No Name/Blondie shirt and poncho next.

Really excited for this. I swapped out the buttons on your Classic to make my Temple shirt last year (using your olive buttons), so now I'll be able to modify that one for the bridge look and have two Temple shirts!
(I'll be gentle with it. Don't be offended.

)

I will, however, be without a Classic after that for my Raiders build, so keep us posted on that MIA Raiders!

Unfortunately the fabric manufacturer is not responding to any communication. Probably too small a fish to pay attention to, despite them claiming manufacturers only need to order 1k of fabric a year to keep an account open.
So looks like I am paying retail for fabric. Inconvenient and kinda puts a crunch on the next run as the capital recouped on sales goes to the next run (getting a lot of requests for Cairos!)
The fabric has been the big hiccup here. Getting the yardage needed is tough, especially retail.
That said, everything should be paid tomorrow and fabric ordered.
Thanks again gang!
