My old AB from Steve Delk, probably one out of the first 50 pieces or so. I can't tell how old it is. Probably 20 years or so. Feels like older than time itself, really. I have been on many adventures with it, including a 300km hike north the arctic circle. After 10 years it had been turned inside out and reblocked, also the former, purplish and wide ribbon had been replaced with a more authentic Mayser ribbon. It is far from screen accuracy right now I would say, but truly an honest adventure hat. I stoped wearing it a long time ago. Had been cleaned recently to get rid of smells and dust - and here it is. Enjoy

RIP Steve. Was a privilege being able to get an Indy 4 beaver from him. Wish I still had my old emails but alas Yahoo is stupid. He will be very much missed.

Question for the group: if one were looking for a CS Adventurebilt made on the original block used for the film hats, what range of hat sizes would that imply? I know this is a very specific question

Thanks all!

Yes, I believe that’s correct. In generality, HF wears a 7 1/4.

With stunt hats included, anywhere from 57 to 61cm is screen used. Ford wore a 22 7/8 inch hat though.

I was sorry to read that Steve had passed away.

Made me retrieve my AB hat that he made for me in 2012. I’ve not been wearing it as much as I should - I’ll have to rectify that.
