Actually I found that post while I was looking for the one about the LL Bean close enoughs. I was reading through a search of MY posts when I found that old thread, and was browsing honestly more for the history of it when I found the postings about the release dates.
As I said, I wasn't even wanting to argue or call anyone to the mat, and certainly not you so please don't take it the wrong way.
But man, the waters about the whole Wings Legend became one big muddy mess, IMO.
Yeah, they were doing pretty good during the 'Hero' creation, but things went really off the rails when it came down to the production of the 'Legend'.
I got an email from UPS with an attachment that is supposedly details about the delivery. It was in the spam box and I assume that it's a virus as Myke never gave me an update as they told me. I don't think I'll open it because I don't see why I'd have to open an attachment for delivery confirmation.

Maybe open the email on a phone with web capabilities. Then change your password and you should be fine. Or send it to a gmail account and scan it for a virus before opening it?

I got a UPS package a couple of weeks ago and have been getting this same email (with attachment) in my spam box once or twice a week ever since. Since I don't have anything on order, I just delete it each time it shows up.
Yes, there is a virus going round attached to a fake UPS email, so I'd be very wary of opening any emails that say they are from UPS at the moment as it's a nasty virus.
I did realize that this Tuesday will mark 5 weeks since the returning of my jacket. When I originally returned it, they did say it would be 6-8 weeks. So maybe I'll be hearing something soon? I hate having to email them anymore because it just takes them aware from actually solving the issue.

Yeah, I got a tracking number today too, but I'm still not getting my hopes up. The last time they sent me a tracking number unexpectedly, they sent me back the same darn defective jacket. I'm not holding my breath.
But it has been a while and they said they were getting corrected jackets in. A small number before but that still means some have been correct. No hopes up for me either but who knows?
They refunded everything except for the initial shipping cost. I requested that they refund me the $10 their website said they would give if there was an error on their part...which there was.
Well at least you got most of your money back. Let us know what you get in the future since you were looking for another jacket to wear instead of you Nowak.
I got the jacket today - quite a bit earlier than I expected, based on recent trends. Overall, I'd have to say I'm happy with this jacket. The left sleeve has quite a few blemishes in the leather and has an odd grain towards the cuff, but in time, I'm sure I'll come to appreciate these character marks. Otherwise, not only did they fix the pocket placement, but it looks as though the adjusted the dimesions of the pockets to make them less elongated than the previous one. Now I just have some return shipping/refund issues to work out. Sorry for the crummy pictures - it's raining outside today, and I don't have the energy to set up the best possible lighting for a photoshoot.
I'm pleased to see that they were able to make the needed corrections, and hope those who received theirs enjoy them.
The photos certainly show off the fine proportions of the jacket.
Your jacket looks terrific mate and I'm sure that like me you'll end up loving the blemishes because when your jacket acquires its 'worn' character, those marks enhance its ruggedness.
I'll try to have some up tomorrow. The blemishes don't bother me as leather won't be perfect. It gives it some nice character. Otherwise I'd buy a $50 black mall jacket that will tear in 2 months.
Originally, I was hoping to wear it through the fall/early winter. When that didn't happen, I was thinking late winter/spring, but it's just too darn hot now. I'll at least post some pics once it's darkened with a coat of Pecards. Maybe it'll start to look a little more broken in this fall.
I put some Pecards on the jacket. It darkened it up nicely, but I understand this may fade. Here's a picture of it half finished. I've got the whole thing done now, but I'll wait until later this week to put up some better pictures.
I just placed an order for one of these jackets in size small today. Hopefully it wont take too long for it to get to me. I'm usually not a cowhide type of guy, for I prefer the drapery of lambskin, but the description on US Wings site and Weston's photos made me really want this leather. This will be my first cowhide jacket and I sure hope that this one exceeds all my expectations. I will post pictures of it on me as soon as I receive it.
