For my birthday I got this very nice AdVintage Harrison in Sable in a Temple of Doom bash. I am a big fan of the True Sable colour, but inspired by Indiana Jon´s Pictures I really wanted to have a Harrison in Sable in my Collection.
I am very pleased and to me it nails that village look I wanted. Overall, the Harrison is a fantastic factory made hat and the block shape is so good for a lot of Indy specific bashes that I hope Thomas will keep offering them for a long time to come.
The bash was spot on out of the box, I only played around with the brim for a while as it was rather stiff and slightly odd looking with a heavy flange.
Here are a couple of Pictures:
And here is an attempt to highlight the difference between Sable and True Sable (in warm artificial light)

Lookin' good, Trem! I love having the color difference in my collection too. My lids are all lined up on my shelf, and I love seeing that Doom stand out. In fact, it quickly became my favorite, as I mentioned. Variety is indeed the spice of life.
Thanks guys, this one really stands out in my collection with its colour and more pronounced taper.
Bearbeast, good eye! It’s a
10ft 12plait kangaroo CS style one from Catchall Crafts. I got it last year and it really took me quite a while to get used to it after only practicing with an 8ft whip for so many years.

Well, it's a beautiful whip, gorgeous colours. I've seen the maker around Etsy, with great reviews, nice to see someone here own one.
Yup, a 10 footer is a different beast, after cracking shorter whips the rollout of a full length bullwhip seems to take an eternity. But it is fun to crack nonetheless.
