Hello
Work free Saturday here so time for researching Indy stuff.
I noticed that DoD bag have decorative studs (is that correct term ?) instead of smooth ones from previous movies. The studs are similar to those found on replicas and I noticed that those kind of studs are more common on bags real and replicas. Inside there is small brass ring loop, but smaller than the one in LC bag.. I have original stamped J. & A. H. 1942 which looks exactly the same as in DoD. One member posted somewhere that he sold some original bag/s to production team some years ago so I also invite him to tell more about it and if he remembers the maker.
Regards

I’m pretty sure Make it Jones provided some for the film and he wrote about the ones he provided including the decorated studs.

i've had at least one Mark VII with those kinda studs on .. they are slightly more decorative but in wartime its was always a 'needs must' basis and this was a very standard item so probably any stud that worked ..
