The Great Circle Leather Jacket

It's here! It had to be done! ...unless there's another thread on this topic, in which case, I apologize! But I'd love to see what everyone thinks of Indy's jacket in the Great Circle!



(Hopefully this is fair game, since this is the first Indy game to capture all his gear to such an astonishing, almost photo real degree!)

I believe I read somewhere that this was primarily based on the LC jacket in the Smithsonian?

It does have the D rings but no storm flap snaps. So I was thinking more like a dial of destiny jacket.

Definitely curious about this. I can see it bring a Destiny. It's easy to see in comparison videos between the Raiders opening and the Circle version that the jacket definitely doesn't hang like a Raiders, and the D-rings and lack of popper makes me think it could be. I'm no expert though on the fine detail.

I did notice the back straps are very short for a Raiders/Destiny jacket.

Good catch, Holt! That's amazing how much research went into this! So is it safe to assume it's just an off the rack Wested Raiders then?

And Leigh, I agree, I thought it reminded me of the Destiny jacket too, though to be fair, the way it drapes may just be a result of the physics engine...

I know some who purchased an off the rack Wested Raiders in Pre-Distressed Hide as their "Great Circle" Jacket. Looks pretty close to me, although the in-game jacket appears darker more often than the lighter brown notes the real world jacket has, but certainly has the same depth of color to it. The darkness of the game jacket probably also has to do with all the interiors in the game and lighting. The only thing I say to keep in mind is for some reason some of the metal hardware on this game's gear is brass, that goes for the O-rings of the bag and the D-Rings of the jacket. As for what they scanned in, I heard it was a Destiny jacket because that was what was available around the time of making the game but clearly they have tweaked the final in-game model a lot.
