Beautiful! I still want an airsoft replica to complete my Raiders gear, but no full metal version exists yet... ](*,)
But this one shoots 2" groups at 25 yards!

I picked up an S&W model 64 a couple years back - it's the stainless version of the model 10, which is the direct descendant of the model Indy uses in Raiders. A little shiny but easier to maintain... and it's so fun to shoot! the picture isn't mine, but it's about identical to mine but with a few more scratches:

It's called distressing.

And the hand ejector conversion looks great, similar to mine.

And the model 10 does look nice by the way.

Thanks Indiana Cromeens.
Took me awhile to get the process done and finding the right grips was the hardest.

It doesn't seem to be in stock anymore (the webley), but I got it at Kotte Zeller, a German online store.

Anareus (Czech online store) seems to have the Tanaka M1917 on their site, but not in stock.

You can write both companies to see if they will be bringing it back, if at all. K&Z has been having less stock since the pandemic. :(

Both sites are trustworthy, that is why I mention them. I ordered multiple times from each.

Post your Indy guns and holsters!

Post by Western New York Indy »

Hello, fellow Indygear enthusiasts! I wanted to open up a thread for people to post the Indy guns and holsters they have. Screen accurate, close enough, real steel, prop, or what have you!

(Apologies if a thread like this already exists, moderators, feel free to get rid of this one if there is already a devoted thread to showcasing Indy guns and holsters.)

I hope to see some awesome Indy guns and holsters!

I'll start with a few pictures of my newly acquired close-enough HFC airsoft revolver. Alongside it, I have my Todd's costumes holster, which I believe is from 2008- 2009 or so.

I merged this with an existing thread. :TOH:

And every time I see one of those HFC airsoft revolvers I think I need to get one.

Thanks, Indiana Jeff! I wasn't sure if there was another thread like this.

The HFC gun just went up on Amazon after being out of stock for a long while. I don't know if I can put a link to it on here, but it's worth looking into. Especially since it's about 11 dollars cheaper than what I got mine for on ebay. I highly recommend it even though it's not perfectly screen accurate. It feels great weight-wise and really fills the holster nicely, as well as being quite solid and well constructed.

I have a rubber gun from Western Stage Props that fills my needs plenty. Though the idea of a revolver with moving parts is what always temps me. I am holding out for a Tanaka Works M1917 though they are super hard to come by.

Those Western Stage Props rubber guns do look really nice. Have you posted a picture of yours somewhere around here? I'd love to see what it looks like outside of the online product photos.

I've always thought the Tanaka replicas were awesome- the only reason I went with the HFC instead of trying to track down a Tanaka M1917 is because of the price. I saw a couple of the Tanaka replicas for sale, but they were all around 270 to 300 bucks. So for me it ended up being way out of my budget to get one. But I hope you can get one someday soon, and once you do I hope to see pictures :D

Thanks!

I always like seeing real world pictures of different gear offerings rather than just the product photos. That picture with the whip, jacket, and gun in the suitcase is so cool! Looks like it’s all packed for a globe trotting adventure. Just maybe don’t try to get the gun past TSA :[

On a side note, thanks are in order. The pictures and info you shared about your Todd’s holster when I was pondering getting one are what convinced me to bite the bullet (pun intended) and buy one. It totally scratches my bolster itch and 100% lives up to my expectations. So thanks! :TOH:

Thanks!! I really love my holster. It has a nice worn look since I got it second-hand, which I enjoy. Yeah, the HFC is really nice. I am happy to join the HFC owner's club  I agree, it is too bad that parts of it are plastic. I wish the cylinder were metal, but I do like that the other moving pieces are metal. And the metal barrel gives it a really nice weight.

Yup, the weight is not bad actually. Better than the Tanaka, that was too light for my taste. :(

By the way, I don't know if you know, or if you care about this aspect, but the replacement rounds for the HFC look nicer than the rounds that come with the replica. They have a metal coppery tip and are cheap:

I thought it was a big upgrade for it.

I had no idea those were available. They look way nicer!! And they really are well priced. I think I will have to get them at some point. I like the look of the imitation bullet tip better than the rubbery thing on the end of the shells that come with the gun. Thanks for letting me know about these!

My Rook Webley #44/50

I bought my Rook Webley and Eagan holster in 2012. The amount of detail he put into his guns is amazing.

That Webley is awesome!! It looks incredibly realistic and really detailed! And that holster is great too! I love the color (or at least from what I can tell through the photos.) Both look great with the backdrop of the whip, jacket, and other gear.

Hey, new member. Thought I would post my guns. The one is an unshaved webley wg army originally sold in London in 1901. The other is a no.2 mark 1 Canadian Inglis 1944 Browning hi-power(same as in raiders). Managed to find a box of webley .455 from 1932 still sealed in the box and period browning 9mm sealed box. Sometimes have the browning on the table and sometimes in the shoulder harness.
Welcome, Rogerpir! :TOH:

Those handguns are gorgeous and your collection looks amazing, great stuff you have there!

Cheers,
Bear
