I just rediscovered these pics from when I went to MBA costumes in London to buy my first ever Indy bag. Noel Howerd and his staff were very courteous and once my bag was ready they asked whether I would like to see some of their screen used gear. I seem to remember a pair of trousers and some boots - but, of course it was the jacket that blew me away - and when Mr Howerd asked whether I wanted to try it on!!! Well... all I can say is it fit perfectly! It also sowed the seed for wanting to get an Indy jacket!
Hope you like the pics - going by the freshness of the scar on my hand, I guess this would have been around 2002-ish. And that's Noel Howerd in the background.
Thanks for sharing! I remember going to visit Noel Howard and getting fitted for pants and a shirt (having already bought a W&G bag from him earlier). He wearily said "Well, I suppose you'll want to see these then" and proceeded to lay out screen-used Aldens, and pants. I don't think he brought out the jacket. It fits you like a glove! Great memories. I'm so glad I took the time to go there.
Ah, back in the days when (most) vendors were open and willing to share their knowledge to the community. Not have been slapped with NDAs or afraid to confirm what is and isn't theirs.
