Nicely done… Wested in brown lambskin? All distressing or is there some crafty dye talent at work as well?

No dye needed here. Just countless of distressing steps to get the right look.

A Wested Legacy LC? That's the one I think they got the most accurate to the original, especially the undercoat.

But I’ve been :-k And I want to compliment your lighting, it really shows the distressing perfectly.
So how did you set it up, as this is exactly what I want to do with my DoD jacket.

Holt, it's been said before, I've even said it about 15 times, but that jacket of yours is perfect. Really well done on getting it there! I have to distress mine a little more to get it more broken in I think...I love it, but don't wear it as much as I could, because I prefer the more broken in looking Raiders I have...Should fix that!

Also! I managed to print off the documents to send the Magnoli cardigan out to you, so as soon as I can get to the post office here, when it's open, it'll be sent out! Should be just after Christmas? I think that'll work! Monday or so maybe? 25th? I'll let you know the tracking number too over on FB..Sorry for the delay ;)

Thanks bud! It was setup with overlight and underlight. This creates the perfect setup to bring out how it looks to the naked eye.

Any front facing light dulls everything out.

Holt,

Your jacket and distressing came out beautifully!

What is your jacket’s size and measurements?

The sleeve length to back length look great!

I have a size 46 and trying to get the proper back length according to my build. Curious to see what yours is because it looks really good!

Holt, I know you’re a stickler for details so seeing your action pleats on your jacket made me feel better about mine. I was noticing the other day that my action pleats are opened like yours. I couldn’t remember if they’re like that in the movie or not.

The "golden hour" lighting works so well with this color scheme. I love how the jacket looks both thick and soft at the same time. That just screams LC to me.

Thanks mate! You know it! The brunwald is one of my absolute favorite looks and Im doing a better brunwald setup soon. I just threw on some LC gear without really trying to nail a certain look. It was more overall. For instance, thats a pleatless Destiny shirt and a rare 3 drain Temple bag. (which I love dearly)

But one thing that really sells the LC set is the jacket combined with the lighter colored pants with a heavier drape. Those are real deal officer pinks :whip:

So 'fess up, Holt -- you found a time machine (possibly the Antikythera?), went back in time and stole Harrison Ford's Last Crusade wardrobe!
Your gear looks amazing, and you're obviously having a great time on this photo shoot. :TOH:

Can you share a few of your main weathering tips? And which brand are those great-looking pants?

Darn it! Somebody had to figure it out!

No for real, I wasnt even trying to get it really nailed down. It was just an overall LC look. Im doing the castle Brunwald look soon which is my favorite of them all. That will be slightly better.

But like mentioned, there are a few items which isnt LC. Temple bag with 3 drain holes at the bottom and Im wearing a destiny pleatless shirt, so...

Anyway..Im wearing an HJ, Legacy wested (of course!!), my whiskeyman 9 foot whip with david Morgan kangu hide, Man.... I have had this thing for 17 years and it still cracks like a canon. So Whiskey, if your reading. I still love it and never had one issue with it, still has the original fall too. Lets see.. Real webely holster, Custom LC gunbelt, real vintage web belt, slimmer LC bagstrap and darker Aldens.

And the pants, those are sick! They are real deal WW2 vintage officer pinks from which the Indy pants was inspired. If you look closely you can see the fat belt loops, Yeah, I still havent sent them in for a custom job. Im lazy. Too busy trying to replicate the grail diary.

But the yeah, the overlall look of the pants screams LC to me, the straight cut, the heavier drape, the pocket flaps and the lighter color. PLuss the big hem. Its close to the total package to me.

Weathering tips? Sandpaper, go EASY. stages, stages, stages. And water. Pretty much how they did it for the film.

Btw, I ordered 2 legacy jackets, well actually 3 Legacys. 2 in lamb and one in novapella. I wanted 1 for cosplay and two for wearing. But Im having the whole angel /demon shoulder thing going on when it comes to tearing up the second lamb ](*,) :whip:

We always look forward to your masterful projects. As far as weathering the jacket, I get the gentle application of sandpaper. But what do you do with water? :-k

Very cool that you can just ‘throw together’ this gear and take shots like this-but it’s a testament to the level of detail and work you put into every piece. It looks like a natural progression of the costume even with little variations of the gear (which only would be noticed here lol).

I’ve never cared for pleats on the front of pants even when they were more fashionable. Are those pinks from Magnoli or vintage? What era is your HJ?

Anyway, awesome Holt! :TOH:

Thanks! Will be fun to build. I know one thing tho. I dont like the alsmost black color of the destiny whip. Its alittle too zorro to me. So will probably keep that original. Water is used for forming the jacket to your body. To help break in.

Thanks! Much appreicated. The pants are genuine vintage WW2 pinks :TOH: Hat era, not sure. Its been blocked by me and will probably do one more block before the brunwald set.
