Email not working again - NEW USERS Especially

Post by Dalexs »

Heads up, its been brought to my attention that email via the board is sort of not working.
I'm looking into it. Its usually a backend issue.

NEW USERS - If have recently registered an account, Email verification is does not seem to be working as well.
Please contact us using the above "Contact Us"
That, for whatever reason, works...

Not sure if it's related, but I also have not received e-mail notifications for the last few PMs I received (which I normally always did).

Yep, not getting email notifications about PMs is what started this check.

I think what happens based on the last time we hit this, i think people have notifications turned on for hot topics, so forum starts sending out all these messages.
Host or email servers pegs them as spam and starts blocking them.

I never know its happening, because I don't actually sit around waiting for pm email notifications to come in.
I check the icon on the upper right, or Tapatalk tells me i have a message.

Someone has to report it and then I look into it.
We also just happened to have someone email us saying they have not gotten the authentication email.

It's a pain, and there not much i can do about it either. But I'll keep poking.
