Steele and Jones Temple of Doom ( with a few mods)

Post by Drifter »

:TOH: Back in March I decided I wanted a more fitted Indy jacket.

As I already had a Raiders from Steele and Jones and was really impressed with Diego’s work, I knew where to go.

The TOD jacket really doesn’t get enough love. Perhaps it’s because the film is not as revered. I have also really liked the look of the jacket.

When I ordered, I did want a few modifications. I had recently picked up a leather jacket from Poshmark that fit me exactly how I wanted a leather jacket to fit.
I used those measurements for this order.

Really love the results, jacket fits much closer to the body. The lambskin is very soft and light. Probably the lightest leather jacket I have ever had. The hidden snap at the bottom of the storm flap keeps it from flaring out. The elastic bands installed in the lining do the same for the pleats.

For reference, Im 5’3 and about 148 pounds. Im a 40 chest but always wear a 38 jacket.

Nice! I daresay it looks better on you than it did on Ford.

Man, I can't wait to get a Steele & Jones.

Nice jacket! I think you could also pull off a size 38 in that Doom cut

Can confirm that the ToD jacket doesn’t get much love and that S&J make works of art with their Cazadoras.

Mine in Blackstone Cowhide is my favorite jacket. The way the light brown undertones come through from the black dye just :notworthy:

Hey,
Your pics are no longer active, any chance you could re post them? I’m super interested to see what this jacket looks like with the mods you described.
Cheers!
