Karolian Dry Goods - Pleated Officer Trousers

Post by KarolianDryGoods »

Hey all,

I think this is the right place to put this ( I am still new to this forum ) so please excuse and delete this thread if it isn't allowed in this section.

As some of you know, I offer a few versions of the Indy shirt, and I just received my version of the trousers.

These are modeled after the sets of trousers from Raiders, so they have the integrated folded waistband, angled rear dart, scalloped rear pockets, etc. Color wise, I wanted to offer something a little different than what is currently offered, so I went with a more "screen seen" Raiders color in a medium muted olive. They are also cotton, so much lighter and easier to care for than a wool set.

Thanks for looking! :whip:

That looks phenomenal for the price! Do you have any plans to emulate looks from any of the other films? :-k

They look fantastic. And I'm thrilled to have a pair that's lighter weight and easier to wash than the other pairs I have :D

Thanks fellas!

I am really, really happy with how they came out.

I may offer other variations of these if they are popular. The upfront costs are quite high, so ponying up for the initial investment is tough.

I found a couple local businesses that offer garment dying in large batches, so I may see about getting some done in the Indy 5 color (looks a little more grey to me? If anyone saw the costumes in person at D23 and has opinions please let me know!)

They look amazing! Curious how large your supply is - really want to order immediately but also want to hear from others on how the sizing runs ](*,)

I currently have plenty of each size! So no worries.

I would say these run pretty similar to most retail brands - not measured waist at your naval.

For instance, I wear a 36 in LL Bean and Old Navy, and I am wearing my 36 in the photos. I do have a larger butt, so you can definitely see that in photos of the rear side.

They also have a bit of give in the beltline.

I do plan on measuring the belt lines of each size, but so far they look dead on to the size grading I provided the manufacturer.

They look very nice, glad they are cotton, too. I prefer cotton to wool!

Also, the model's quads are huge, wouldn't like to be on the receiving end of a kick from that dude!
