Hey guys! My 8-year-old boy asked for an Indiana Jones hat for Christmas (chip off the ol' block.
). Par for the course with 8-year-old boys, he's quite rough on his things and also very forgetful. As such, I don't wanna buy him something too pricey, but I also don't want it to look like it came off the Halloween rack at Walmart.
Any input/suggestions you guys may have would be greatly appreciated!

If you're not too anti- Dorfman/Pacific, Kohl's has a good price on their official kids Indy.
TOTALLY wrong in design, but at least it does come with that 'nifty' pin.

USWings has the exact same hat for $10 more on their website.

Ah! Good options, and great price point! Do you know if it's crushable? I was hoping to avoid the super rigid version.

For kids I would get a Dorfman Pacific, as a lad I couldn’t tell the difference and I remember wearing it all the time.

Wool is going to be your best option for his age. Search "wool brown fedoras" online and you'll find lots of choices for under $25.

Slightly off topic, but since we're talking about 'kids' items....were you aware of this new item?

I may have one on order for a grandson this Christmas....

As does Wings.
A bit more expensive, though we're comparing steerhide to lambskin here, so it would be.
