We're doing a new run now, but these won't be ready until later in the year. In the mean time, if you do want one from the old run, you can request a waterproofing treatment to be done before we ship.

Thanks a lot, I think I will wait for the new run then. Would it be possible that you drop a line here when it becomes available? :TOH:

Thanks! :)

Hello Indy Magnoli, I have one of your bags purchased in 2019 just before the new model, after several original Mark VII getting ripped from the strap attachments and yours holding up strong after 3 years of intense use I'm never going back to the originals.

I really like the old placement but it's fine with the new one, sometimes I can't find stuff mixed all togheter in the large front pocket.
One thing about accuracy that I want to mention and if somebody else would chime in, I'm pretty sure the clasp buttons are completely smooth from the outside and not with that small borderline, I have noticed by closeup movie screenshots that they are like that, also my "W&G" bag has them completely smooth also.

Regards,

The new run of bags will have the smooth snap covers, I believe...

I really like the interior pocket layout for these bags. I’m anxiously waiting for them to come back into stock.

Love my interior bag. Ordered one earlier this year and have been using it daily to and from the dig site. Unfortunately, despite not having gotten wet at all (dang dry Texas summers) I am also experiencing some of the stamp dye bleed through on the flap. Is there a recommended stain remover? My go-to is mixing Oxyclean in some water to dilute then soaking clothes overnight. I don't know for sure if it will happen but don't want to lose the green color (I'm terrible at re-dying).

Just try plain old water. I've rinsed mine several times and the black is pretty much completely gone. The whole problem with this ink is that it's water soluble... so it should come out with water.

Hi, will the new ones, the next stock you’ll have in, have this issue, or will it all be colour fast now?

I talked to our factory and there was a delay in dyeing the new fabric, so it looks like these are still a good month away from being finished.

Magnoli, will the little loop on the outside be longer on this new run? From what I've seen on the bag used in Raiders, it's pretty long.

No plans to do so. I think this is the first I've heard of different length loops.

Yeah, if you watch the scene where Satipo says “If you insist Señor” you can see that the Raiders bag has a longer loop.

But I know it varies from bag to bag, and I can’t think of any of the other 3 where a longer one is noticeable.

The color we've always gone for is an "olive drab".

Yeah, it is just a little detail but I was curious - devil is in, yadda yadda. That's a better photo than the ones I've seen. Thanks!

It's taken a while, but these are back in stock (both original and modern layout versions): https://www.magnoliclothiers.com/britis ... -p-66.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You'll notice there has been a price increase. This is partially due to the updates we've implemented (better canvas, hardware, etc) but also general inflation (it's been several years since our last run) and (the biggest problem) shipping costs due to Covid. In any case, these are now in stock and backorders will be shipping out this week. Once we're caught up, all new orders will start shipping (probably after the weekend).

Kind regards,
Magnoli

Any chance you could post a picture comparing the old run with the new?

Unfortunately the only bags I have from the old run are a bit faded now, so it wouldn't be an entirely accurate comparison... and a side by side of photos will probably vary just as much in white balance as in the color of the canvas.

I do love the layout. I'm really tempted to get one to use as a bag liner/organizer inside the Frost River Geologist Pack.

I'm honestly not sure, but I do remember it was quicker than what was quoted when I bought it by a week or so...
