Hey all,
It’s been a while since I posted but I wanted to drop in and say how happy I am with my new LC Grail Temple fedora from S&J. I ordered it back in April but the lockdown delayed the shipment until just last week.
The quality is top notch. At first the fit was tight but as I’ve been wearing it the fit has gotten more comfortable on my head.

That looks awesome, it’ll probably be the go to lid, as it looks awesome. I know said it already but it needs to be said.
Always think about doing a SoC from them, but i want my next to be in beaver.
Love it, wear it in good health.

Thanks! It also must be said, as many here have said before, that Roberto at S&J was a pleasure to work with. I feel like this is the hat that fits with my face and body type. I have a Raiders version from HJ and while it’s a beautiful hat, it always felt too big for me. That’s probably due to the raiders style versus the LC. But i think it also has to do with S&J’s philosophy of fitting the hat to the customer.

Thanks for posting! Just ordered an Explorador 38 for myself and am anxiously awaiting it! I just hope it’s not too warm a hat for Florida weather.

How’s the lid been doing since you bought it.
S&J have awesome products, now they need to experiment with beaver.

It really does look great on your head. It doesn't look like a costume piece where you're dressing up as someone else, it looks like YOURS if that makes sense. I have a jacket from S&J but haven't ordered a fedora from them. How do they go about making the hat fit the customer so well? What did you need to send them to get started?senorjacob wrote:Thanks! How high is the crown? I wonder if a slightly lower crown can be ordered for those of us who want it.

They size it to your proportions based on photos of your head and your hat size. With that said I’m sure they’d make the crown even lower if you asked them.Charybdis wrote:How high is the crown? I wonder if a slightly lower crown can be ordered for those of us who want it.
