Depends entirely on how committed you are to screen accuracy. Any local hardware/big box store will have close enough leather work gloves.

Assuming you've already checked your local stores, what you're basically looking for is wells lamont 0122's. Or the 1130.
These are the closet you'll get now'days.
Original ones we think were the 1123 or a Midwest model, neither are available anymore.

Walmart sometimes carry's them, but I got mine online from these guys I think

Better price if you buy them in bulk. ;)

Dalexs, those look great, and that price blows the others out of the water, but what would you say is inaccurate with them? I’m not too knowledgeable on those stats.

Magnoli, I thought you were in New Zealand, what’s your shipping like to the west coast?

Those look like they're straight out of the movie.

Biggest issue is that they actually have dark brown seem around cuff. (But nothing a little bleach doesn’t fix... ;) )

And Mags, I didn’t realize you guys had the gloves too.

Nice thread, I knew Mag did glove, but I’d forgotten.
I have one pair left on some older ones bought in the blizzard, had the M on them, kinda orangish, but there right look.

Will have to try both of these.

I’ll wait to the new Indy shirts arrive at Mag before I order them up.

Shipping to the States is running about 2-3 weeks by airmail and 3-5 days by courier, though airmail is all over the place and can sometimes take as much as six weeks.

Our gloves can be purchased clean or with light or heavy distressing at no extra charge.

Question, is the stitching on the back near the wrist straight or zig zag, thought along time ago they were zig zag.
Picture shows them straight.

The stitching on the screen used gloves is straight. If you look at screen caps when the Well of Souls is first opened you can see the backs of the gloves very clearly.

Thanks, but I was referring to Mag's gloves. :TOH:
Always thought the stitching was straight, thanks for confirming.

How have you all gone about weathering your gloves?

Having done both this week, I can tell you there's very little difference between archaeological digging and yard work. I buy cheap leather gloves ($4) from the local industrial supply. After a day or two they look like screen-used. After another week or two, they're trash. But they look right and feel good. 8)
FWIW, nitrile-coated nylon stretch gloves are the way to go in the real world-- 10 pair for $10, and they stop thorns and glass sherds pretty well.

I recently ordered a pair of pants from Wested and also a shirt and thought "well whilst we're about it" and splashed out on a pair of their Raiders gloves as well. I'm no expert by any means but they look the part and are well made. I've been using them the last couple of days for odd jobs and carting stuff around and they've performed perfectly. I'm usually a size 9 1/2 in gloves and went for the medium which fits great. Here they are, obviously they need a lot more hard work to get some staining and patina but they're already developing some nice creasing as you can see.
