Cotton Wested Indy Jacket

Post by Stefan Hills »

Hi there,

Does any of you fine folks have a cotton Wested Indy jacket?
Trying to see what there were reviews, opinions or pictures of it since I cannot seem to find any apart from the causal mention of it.

A curious mind wants to know and I am sure a good too here too,

Any help would be great, and many thanks.

Best wishes,
Stefan

I own the second prototype and the first production model that was produced.

The first prototype was miss-shipped to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, and completely fell off radar, never to be seen again.

I still wear the prototype, and my wife wears her first model in warm weather.

The cotton drill cloth is great, though it should only be dry cleaned as the material can 'pill' like a sweater if you machine wash.

I found the OTR sizing good in the body, but the sleeves a bit short for my long arms. Mine is a size 44R, by the way.

The sleeves are 24". I wish they were at least 25", but I've lived with it for so long I've just grown accustomed to it.

The color has faded from wear. It started out a dark chocolate brown, and is now more of a 'latte' tan. ;)

What else do you want to know?

Same pattern as the Raiders jacket, and just as well made.

Regards! Michaelson
