So, any and all opinions welcome: When it comes to the fit of the pants, just how baggy are they supposed to be?
I'm looking at close-enough pants like LL Bean's dress chinos. I got a pair (bargain discount, free shipping), and the dark khaki color looks good compared to photo references. My preference was to avoid wool pants because I wanted something more comfortable in warm weather and pants that are washable as opposed to dry-clean-only. And the wool "actual" pants are pretty pricey, too, especially for pants I'd never wear other than as Indy gear.
The Bean pants are pretty voluminous, although they do hang nicely. I figure I'll take them to a local tailor and ask him to take them in. (Yes, I'm aware this brings the cost up to actual wool Indy pants; but I really prefer cotton twill for reasons above...)
Any tips, suggestions, etc. appreciated -- thanks!

Re: Indy Pants Fit: How Baggy is TOO Baggy?
Sorry, no tips but I have that same style of pants, the LL Bean, for the same reasons you stated. I think they’re a little baggy also so I am open to thoughts. I do like the pants though, not quite the right color but close. They even seem to have a slight pink tone in certain light.
