Webley color question

Post by Ramsey »

I recently bought a really nice Webley replica.....but it's all black....I'm wondering should I paint the handles brown? And if so, what paint would be the best to use?
Thanks in advance!

Webley grips were made out of black bakelite so that's the one part of your replica that should stay black.

From where did you get the Webley? Metal or resin? Details details!

I got it from Denix....I love it...I'm considering buying other guns from them, they have some really cool stuff...and I've always wanted a Thompson machine gun (even if it is a non-firing replica).

Denix does make nice replicas. I have a Colt Navy 1851 from them for my Man with No Name cosplay.
